Non-Discrimination Policy

It is the policy of the Pride Foundation not to discriminate in hiring, membership, or the provision of services in regard to race, color, gender, gender identity, marital status, sexual orientation, political ideology, age, creed, religion, heritage, ancestry, national origin, or sensory, mental, or physical ability.

The Pride Foundation believes it is appropriate for an organization to provide programs and services to a specific population when the targeted groups require specialized programs to meet specific needs not shared by the general population. Additionally, an organization may provide programs or services to redress current or past discrimination against a targeted group.

The Pride Foundation is a community foundation working to strengthen our lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community today, and build an endowment fund for tomorrow. Pride funds a wide range of projects primarily in Washington state extending to the four neighboring states of Oregon, Montana, Idaho and Alaska. Funding organizations and scholarships
