Overview
Pride Foundation funds organizations, small and large, as they strengthen and serve the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community. Since 1987, we have provided over $8 million to hundreds of organizations. Often we hear that our grant is the first an organization ever received. Other times we are funding more established organizations, who are starting to serve the LGBT community. Either way, we are honored to put our community’s resources to work supporting organizations we know are making a difference for LGBT equality.
All of Pride Foundation’s granting decisions are made by volunteers knowledgeable in their community’s needs. We fund non-profit organizations based in Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington. Our funding categories are:
- Arts and Recreation
- Education, Advocacy, and Outreach
- Health and Community Service
- HIV/AIDS Service Delivery and Prevention
- Lesbian Health
- Youth and Family Services
