Welcome to the new PrideFoundation.org!
on May 14th, 2009 at 3:50 pmSo what’s new? What will you find here? How can you best use the site? Glad you asked! Here are some answers:
Stories! We know that you want to hear from all the inspiring people and organizations that Pride Foundation supports, so we have asked them to share their stories with you on the site. We’ll keep refreshing these, especially in the Grants in Action and Gifts in Action pages, so check back often.
Get Local! Sure, you may want to know what Pride Foundation is doing all over the Northwest, but what you really want to know is what we are doing in your area. So jump on over to the Get Local section to find out what is happening in your area and how to get involved.
Funding for your work! We have simplified our granting area so it will be easier for nonprofits to figure out if there is funding available for their work. Just go on over to our Grants area and click on the part of the map where your organization is located. It will tell you if there is a grant cycle open for you.
Easier Giving! We heard that you wanted to have some easy ways to contribute to our work, especially the ability to make monthly gifts. So we created the Cornerstone Club and added the ability to make a monthly pledge. And of course, we hope you will use it.
A Blog! And not just any blog, but a blog where five different Pride Foundation staffers will share the latest stories and news from our work in the community. We are having a little issue getting the comments section to work, but don’t worry, it will be there soon- because really we built this blog so we could hear from you.
So those are some of the highlights from the new PrideFoundation.org. We’d love to hear what you think. Email me and tell me how you like (or don’t like) on the site or what you would like to see on here. We’ll do our best to make it happen.
Thanks!
