Our Programs - Pride Regional Communities - Inland Northwest
Pride Foundation's Inland Northwest Regional Community was one of our first granting communities launched in 1997. It consists of 19 counties in Eastern Washington and North Idaho, (Adams, Asotin, Ferry, Garfield, Lincoln, Pend Oreille, Spokane, Stevens, Whitman, WA counties and Benewah, Bonner, Boundary, Clearwater, Idaho, Kootenai, Latah, Lewis, Nez Perce, Shoshone, ID counties) with its hub in Spokane, WA.
Grants and Scholarships
Inland Northwest conducts a grant cycle in the early fall each year. In 2006, $16,500 was awarded to organizations working to strengthen the LGBT community! Click here to see the grantees . In addition, $10,000 was awarded in scholarships to 10 students from the Inland Northwest in May.
Leadership
The community is led by a volunteer steering committee that provides direction, oversees the grants process, helps raise funds and represents Pride Foundation in the region.
