Dustina Haase-Lanier grew up and presently lives in Vancouver, WA. She attends Portland State University where she is pursuing a master’s degree in Social Work. Social work is not just a profession for Dustina, it is her passion. As a survivor of domestic violence, it was skilled and committed social workers helped her regain her life. As a result, she is committed to doing the same for others through policy work and systemic change. Her long term goal is to create an organization that has shelters that welcome DV survivors who are across our full LGBTQI spectrum (and their four-legged buddies. Dustina received the Pride of the Rose, the Pride Foundation Community, and the Washington Regional Scholarships.
