Jillian Saxton-Moody grew up in South Carolina and now resides in Fairbanks, AK. She is pursuing a PhD in Public Health at Walden University. She is currently working on her dissertation on grief and loss of parents in the Pacific Northwest who have lost an LGBT child to suicide. Jillian also already works as a mental health professional with delinquent juveniles, in which minorities are vastly over represented. Jillian’s long term goal is to eliminate suicide in Alaska’s youth. Jillian received the Alaska Regional and Pride Foundation Community.
