2013 Fellowship Application Deadline Approaches: Feb 15

Winter has only just begun but we’d like to know what you’re doing this summer?

If you’re looking for an exciting and educational experience at a nonprofit organization this summer find out more about Pride Foundation’s Fellowship Program. The Fellowship Program’s goal is to cultivate leaders and strengthen the Northwest LGBTQ community by connecting passionate people with valuable real world experience.

In conjunction with community partners in Alaska, Montana, Oregon, and Washington, Pride Foundation will provide up to ten fellowship positions during the summer of 2013. This fellowship experience provides an opportunity for professional development as well as an introduction to the work of community leadership organizations by matching fellows with organizations committed to LGBTQ equality. Applicants must commit to working ten weeks over the course of the summer. A monthly stipend is provided by Pride Foundation.

This program is open to current college students only (this includes students enrolled in community college, four year public or private colleges/universities, graduate school, professional programs, vocational or trade programs) pursuing any degree or major.

The Fellowship Program application is due February 15, 2013.
