Leaving a Legacy
Estate planning is a powerful way to express your values and to care for your partner, family, and community. Everyone should devote time to creating estate plans, but such plans are especially important for LGBTQ people, whose lives and loves are not fully recognized by society. With proper planning, you can make sure your wishes are fulfilled, possibly lower your estate tax, and also create powerful change.
Ways to give
There are easy ways to leave your legacy and support Pride Foundation through your estate:
- Name Pride Foundation as a beneficiary in your will. Sample bequest language for inclusion in your will can be found here.
- Make Pride Foundation a beneficiary of your life insurance policy, IRA, 401(k) or 403(b).
- Name Pride foundation as the beneficiary of a charitable remainder trust.
- If you’ve already included Pride Foundation in your estate plans, let us know! Complete our simple Bequest Intention form online to notify us that you are a Visionary!
With just a little planning you can make sure your loved ones and your community are supported far into the future. Look inside the Leave a Legacy brochure to see how estate planning and planned giving through Pride Foundation can make this possible.
