Become A Volunteer
As an LGBTQ community foundation that serves the entire Northwest region, volunteers truly put community in all we do. Every year, Pride Foundation relies on the passion and expertise of hundreds of volunteers to help drive our work forward.
Pride Foundation volunteers are a diverse group of LGBTQ community members and allies, and we are especially looking for new volunteers living in rural areas, people of color, and transgender folks.
Our two primary volunteer opportunities:
Scholarship Review – December to April
Grant Review – July to August
Other opportunities throughout the year:
- Volunteering at special events
- Lending a hand in the Seattle office
- Joining your local regional community action committee
To get started as a scholarship or community grant review volunteer, please login to our volunteer application. If you’ve volunteered in the past and are applying to volunteer again, please use your existing email and password to sign in and resubmit your application with any necessary updates. If you’re a new volunteer, you’ll need to create a new account. Volunteer opportunities vary throughout the year, so our volunteer application changes as we recruit for different program needs.
To take advantage of the other non-review opportunities, if you have questions, or if you need help with your volunteer application, please email Eden Shore, Volunteer Manager, or call 206.323.3318 or toll free at 1.800.735.7287.
