Greg is the Academic Dean and Dean of the Library at The Evergreen State College, where he previously taught literature and queer studies. His research and publications lie at the intersection of human rights, sex, and gender.
In 1998, after a peripatetic life spent on four continents, Greg settled in Washington State. He enjoys traveling, attending the theater, biking, and yoga. He splits his time between Seattle and Olympia, but lives with his partner in the Madison Park neighborhood in Seattle.
Greg’s admiration for Pride Foundation’s Scholarship Program led him to volunteer as a scholarship reviewer. Hearing the stories of the lives that are transformed through the work of Pride Foundation convinced him to devote more time and energy to the organization, and he joined the Board in 2015. A history buff, he keenly appreciates the leap forward that this community foundation has made possible for LGBTQ people in the Pacific Northwest.
