Nicole Browning, President
Nicole’s professional expertise lies at the intersection of marketing, communications, and community relations. Currently, she oversees these areas for the University of Washington’s Division of Student Life.
A native New Englander and alumna of Cornell University, Nicole has called the Northwest home for ten years after moving here as an elite athlete to take advantage of Seattle’s active rowing scene. She is also an avid runner and cyclist whose hobbies include experimental cooking and exploring the world with her wife Anne and baby daughter Leighton. They live in Seattle’s Arboretum neighborhood with their whiskered sidekicks, Karl and Leon.
Nicole became a donor and volunteer with Pride Foundation’s scholarship program in 2007, joining the board in 2012. As board President, she continues to be moved by the trust Pride Foundation has built with its donors over the past 30 years; inspired by the way the organization’s strategic investments make a difference for scholars and grantees at the local, state, and regional level; and is energized by the way Pride Foundation’s work continues to move the needle on chronic and emerging issues facing LGBTQ people across the Northwest.
