Tara loves volunteering with Pride Foundation. Pride Foundation first caught her attention in the early 2000s, when she read about a shareholder advocacy victory in the Seattle Gay News. Through her work at the time as a professional fundraiser, she came to know Pride Foundation’s own fundraising team as colleagues, and they encouraged her to get more involved in the organization as a scholarship volunteer.
Through the years Tara’s professional expertise has grown to encompass a broad range of nonprofit management skills. She puts those skills to work as a member of the Pride Foundation board, an online and in-person peer learning facilitator, and most often, as the Managing Partner of Crux Consulting Consortium. Tara works with organizations of all sizes and focus areas on topics including strategic planning and staff development.
Tara has lived in the greater Seattle area for nearly 30 years, and is delighted that her professional work has recently taken her to an increasing number of locations in Pride Foundation’s five-state region.
When not volunteering or working, Tara is most likely to be hanging out with her five year-old son and her husband in the Madrona neighborhood of Seattle.
